MARTYL (b. St. Louis, Missouri)
Graduated from Washington University (St. Louis) with a degree in art history and archaeology. Awards include
a First Prize from the Kansas City Art Institute, two First Prizes from St. Louis Art Museum, a First Disney Award
from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, a Mr. and Mrs. Frank Logan Medal and Prize, a Frank Armstrong Award
and a William Bartels Award from the Art Institute of Chicago, and an American Institute of Architects Honor Award.
Martyl is represented in many museums including The Art Institute of Chicago, Los Angeles County Museum of Art,
Brooklyn Museum of Art, Metropolitan Museum of Art and Whitney Museum of American Art.
