| RIVA LEHRER (b. Cincinnati, Ohio, 1958) |
| Attended the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and the University of Cincinnati. Solo and group exhibitions include The United Nations and A.I.R. Gallery in NYC, DeCordova Museum, Frye Museum, Arnot Art Museum, Lafayette Art Museum, Mobile Museum of Art, Herron Gallery at Indiana University, Aldrich Museum, Chicago Cultural Center and the Elmhurst Art Museum. Has won several grants and awards including the Samuel I. Newhouse Foundation/ Wynn Newhouse Award, the Carol J. Gill Award for Disability Culture, a CAAP Grant and a Regional Visual Arts Fellowship Award from the National Endowment for the Arts. |
