Koss received a B.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1975 and an M.F.A. from Mills College
(Oakland, CA) in 1977. Among the many awards are a Bank of America Achievement Award, Visual Artist
Fellowship from the National Endowment for the Arts, and Best of Show at the Bumbershoot Bookfair in Seattle.
Koss has been an instructor at several colleges including the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, University of
Washington Medical Center, Seattle Art Museum, and currently at the Cornish College of Art in Seattle. |
