RICHARD HUNT (b. Chicago, Illinois, 1935)
Received B.A.E. from School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1957. Has won several grants and awards including
three Logan Prizes from the Art Institute of Chicago, a James Nelson Raymond Foreign Travel Fellowship,
John Simon Guggenheim Fellowship, Ford Foundation Fellowship and a Cassandra Foundation Fellowship.
Hunt is in most major museums including the Art Institute of Chicago, Museum of Contemporary Art (Chicago),
Metropolitan Museum of Art, Museum of Modern Art (New York), Whitney Museum of American Art,
Albright-Knox Gallery (Buffalo, New York), Los Angeles County Museum of Art, The National Gallery,
Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, National Museum of Israel (Jerusalem)
and Museum of the Twentieth Century (Vienna).
